My garage puts Mobil 1 in and I’m happy with it. One of the first things I noticed about the ls motor is how smooth it is. 

my understanding is that more important than brand of oil is putting the right weight in based on how you drive your car. Ie normal, track days or high power output cars. 
not my specialty but my thoughts. Im happy to let the experts at the garage I use guide me.
